Neon Circuit Rush: dialing in tilt controls for cleaner laps

July 3, 2026 · Mikael Berg

Neon Circuit Rush defaults to a tilt sensitivity that's way too twitchy, and I think a lot of people drop the game before fixing it. Spend two minutes in settings and it transforms.

I pulled sensitivity down to about 60% and enabled the steering deadzone. Suddenly I wasn't overcorrecting on every bend, and my lap times dropped immediately. If tilt still isn't your thing, the button scheme is genuinely solid too.

Boost management is the other half of the puzzle. Save your meter for the long straights rather than burning it mid-corner, where it just pushes you wide. Clean lines beat constant boosting almost every time.

Learn one track at a time. Each has a shortcut or two that aren't obvious on the first lap, and memorizing them is worth more than any car upgrade early on.

It's a simple arcade racer at heart, but with the right setup it feels great. Worth the few minutes to tune it.
